In Barcel we care about the innovation and quality of our product; that is why we opened the first Institute of Innovation and Nutrition in Lerma, State of Mexico in 2008. It is headquarters of one important part of the operations that harbors the second of the these Institutes in the country, and the fourth worldwide.
The objective of the Institute of Innovation and Nutrition is to develop innovative, healthy and high-quality products, through constant research for new technologies that will allow to us to be in the vanguard and to offer new and more options to our consumers.
In Grupo Bimbo we have always been known for being a company with high social responsibility and that is why we care about the nutrition of children. This is why we created the presentations of 100 kcalories, which are smaller portions for consumption, moderating the calories ingested by our consumers. Barcel applies this new initiative in: Takis and Toreadas.
This is how in Barcel we have consolidated in the Mexican market, and that is why our commitment is to go further, looking for vanguard and great quality products.
